This year's Living Nativity will be even bigger than last year's! There are lots of ways to get involved before and during the event. Please take a look at all our available opportunities.

Food
Servers
Cashiers
Preparation
Cooking/Grilling

Children Activities
Child evangelism
Help children with crafts at assigned booths

Tour Guides/Greeters
Welcome guests to Horizon and Nativity
Dress up in costume
Tour the guests through the scenes
Line guests up and put them in groups of 20 to 30

Set-Up
Set up scenes and marketplace days/nights before the event
Set up food area days/nights before the event
Set up tables, chairs, etc.
Load and unload items for the event

Clean-Up
Clean up around scenes and marketplace
Pick up and throw out trash
Put back tables and chairs
Last night of the event or the night after, tear down all sets, scenes, marketplace, etc.
Other duties as assigned

Construction
Construction of sets for nativity scenes
Construction of the marketplace

Design/Decoration
Research the look of biblical scenes: The announcement of the birth of Christ, The Inn, The Manger, etc.
Design sets for nativity scenes
Help construction team actualize the design
Decorate the sets and booths

Costumes
Costume design/creation
Sewing
Helping actors dress the nights of the event

Acting
Roles in each scene: Mary, Joseph, Shepherds, Angels, Inn Keeper, Herod, Wise Men, Roman Soldiers, Tax Collectors and Narrators
Interacting with guests as beggars, lepers, etc.
Memorize lines and blocking

Make-Up
Makeup application
Creating different biblical looks

Parking
Direct traffic entering and leaving the event

Security
Ensure security of vehicles and event area

Promotion/Publicity
Fliers
Radio spots
Create banners
Publish announcements in newspapers
ETC.

Evangelism
Dress up in costume as Rabbi's or other characters
Present the gospel at the end of the Tour
Hand out gospel tracts during the event and pray with guests

Sound
Turn off and on MP3 player for one scene during the night

Lighting
Help control lighting during the event
Help set-up lighting for the event

Administration/Hospitality
Man volunteer registration table during the event
Man hospitality room for volunteers
Help with calling of volunteers who register
Database creation

Marketplace
Craftsmen: candle makers, sewing fabric, glass blowers, pottery, etc.
Sales: selling items in the marketplace like fruit, nuts, bread, etc.
